Its been a while since a fashion show has set my heart on a steady race to fashion adoration like this Chanel show. In researching it, I literally felt the proverbial hands of fashion gently squeezing my heart and with what seemed like whispers of "you love this shit". This is what would happen if Marie Attoinette and Gene Simmons had a love child - sheer feminine edgy genius! Not to mention the added bonus as the show was held in a palace in Versailles. Please lets teleport there and share tea, macaroons & long dramatic cigarettes?
From the pastel colored wigs, rouged cheeks and velvet transferred "c-c" below the eye, the beauty was to die for! Making it known that pastel trends in beauty will continue right through to 2013- I must admit I predicted this. Moreover the structure and chic composition of each garment is out of this world. The styling, crazy and simultaneously incredibly elegant; flat-form sneakers styled with tweed and chiffon.From the couture, models, beauty and music to the palace setting - I could just go on - but basically: OMF I want to bathe in the greatness that is Karl Largerfeld.
