Located in the amazing Dubai Mall is the local Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo. The Aquarium holds the Guiness World Record for the largest acrylic viewing panel i.e. the largest panel of straight glass. Its pretty cool, although I did feel a bit sorry for the fish - there seemed to be way too many in such a tiny tank but I'm no oceanographer so I wouldn't know for sure. My nephew went absolutely crazy screaming and pointing at the fish, sharks and penguins. Cape Town Aquarium is certainly much better but when in Dubai...
