Eid Al Fitr 2012 Lookpost.

Eid was so special this year, as usual spending the morning having Eid Breakfast with my immediate family, lunch at my Granny's house, visiting old aunties and finishing the day off with a stunning evening at 15 on Orange Hotel for coffee's and desserts with my dearest friends. The day was magical to say the least! Here I'm wearing a body suite I had made a while back, peplum top from Zara, maxi skirt from Zara, velvet high waisted pants & bag from H&M and heels from Bershka. My jewelry is from Mango, Accessorize and Forever new. I'm not entirely sure where my scarf is from but its one of my favorite scarves!

I usually wear hijab during the month of Ramadan with hopes of someday doing it for good. People are often unsure as to whether they approve or don't and in previous years I got a lot of flack for wearing it only during the month of Ramadan and not after.  I don't like explaining my personal religious choices to people but I feel there are certain religious milestones I'd like to reach before committing to full-time Hijab. It's not an easy task but someday I think I'll be ready, Allah willing. So yes that means I'll remove my scarf at some point this week and my ridiculously long hair will be flowing in the wind in upcoming posts.

I'll candid photographs of our special celebration later this week!

I love the loosely wrapped hijab styles and all the pretty ones the arab girls are wearing, but I don't think Cape Town is ready for that yet you know?People like to stare if you do something different to what they are used to seeing.I love how you wrapped yours, maybe you can do a tutorial for us hijabis out there?
