It is no secret that I am a Hip Hop fiend, buying into the fantasy lifestyle of an educated rogue - hip hop somehow speaks to my alter ego. From a fashion stand point rappers (like my favie Kanye West) are starting to make waves in the industry more than ever, sitting front row at major shows like A$AP Rocky at Alexander Wang and Kanye rocking it at Paris FW.
The latest trend is the Givenchy t-shirt. Popularized by non other than H.O.V.A aka Jay Z and his prodigy Kanye West during their "Watch The Throne" tour. They drafted Givenchy to compile a custom line of screen printed Tee's kicking off the craze in the Hip Hop community. Following suit are athletes, musicians and rappers like Wacka Flocka, Big Sean, A$AP Rocky, Pusha T and even socialite and Diddys main squeeze Cassie.
The mens t-shirts feature strong animal references like their most popular "The Shark" and "The Rottweiler". Althought the brand does stock feminine Tees, Liv Tyler and Rihanna have made the mens Tee look so fresh. Check out this collage I compiled of my favorites wearing the french designer t-shirt.
